Cambridge Artworks Postcard Exhibition and Silent Auction will take place on the first two weekends of July with final bids taken at 4.30 on the 10th July. There are over 40 pieces of original artwork, each piece is a small unique artwork created by a resident artist or a guest artist. These pieces are of a small postcard size, but the artists’ creativity has resulted in a wide variety of art – stretching the definition of ‘postcard’. The postcards are for sale by silent auction. All artists will be happy to talk about their work and show people around their studios- and even make them a cup of tea! Cambridge Artworks is a renowned co-operative, comprising 18 practicing Artists working in the studios at Greens Road (off Victoria Road), in the heart of Cambridge. An incredible range of talent is housed in this Studio Complex and Gallery. The Art Works available include Painting, Sculpture, Ceramics, Textiles and Printmaking. Cambridge Artworks will be open as part of the annual Open Studios event in July
