Have you ever received a gift that you don’t like but feel you should keep? How do you decide where to keep it, and for how long? The Campaign for Objects in Purgatory gives you the opportunity to share the dilemmas created by these troublesome possessions. The Campaign is a combination of exhibition and live event; visitors are invited to contribute to the exhibition by telling the story of their own Object in Purgatory (contributions will remain anonymous), and in exchange they can chose and take away a handmade campaign brooch. So bring a photo, make a sketch and / or tell the story of your uncherished gift, then take your free brooch and wear with joy!
