In the work of Carol Rhodes there is often a delicate relationship between abstraction and realism in the cool distanced viewpoint of her almost topographical landscapes.John Robertson’s work explores an intricate revisionist history where painting and found objects are left as investigative artefacts both oblique and seductive.Michael White’s material explorations violently force of found objects and material together, rather than negotiating a delicate balance the artist wilfully and playfully explores formal disruption with it’s points of collapse and stability.
