A hugely powerful body of water ebbs and flows beneath us, and crashes onto the Esplanade on the most violent of days. In respect of the water, this exhibition of static and moving images has been curated to evoke those rich recollections of the history of the Pavilion, and through works by these contemporary artists, draw new and exciting contexts into the situation.
Featuring the work of cross-generational local, national and international artists, working cross-disciplinary, this exhibition underpins Penarth Pier Pavilion’s directive for presenting a diverse range of artists, to its diverse audiences.
