Cheryl-ann Taylor’s fashion & knitwear designs are sought by leading fashion houses ranging from to Marc Jacobs and Donna Karan to Marks & Spencer. During this new collaboration with the Ryedale Folk Museum she will relocate her design studio into the museum’s gallery space, where she will produce a collection of silk-knitted dresses. Throughout the show people will be able to find out more about how the sample fashion industry operates. This is the second in a series of three residencies during which the museum explores how traditional industries are thriving within the region today through the work of contemporary artists and makers. Dress is free for people to visit.
