My work mainly reflects the beauty of my environment with sea, marine and historic places close by. However, curiosity and inspiration to diversify from landscapes and seascapes, has allowed me to create paintings from other sources. I uses a variety of mediums for a variety of subjects but my preference lies with Oils. This year I will return to offering painting workshops at my Studio to introduce adults who have never painted before, to 'Alla Prima' oil painting. A painting in a day! I had previously qualified as an Adult Education Teacher and Assessor, which will enable me to facilitate these workshops. In Summer 2022 one of my paintings was the winner of a Public Vote at a local exhibition. In Summer of 2023 one of my painting was joint winner of a Public Vote at a local exhibition. I had the pleasure of being chosen to exhibit one of my paintings at Oriel Brondanw in Penrhyndeudraeth, near Porthmadog; the former home of Clough Williams-Ellis famous for building the village of Portmeirionand writer, Amabel Williams-Elis. My work is displayed in my studio for private viewing and at various exhibitions.
