THURSDAY 28 TH MAY, 6 TO 7.30PM – A special opportunity to hear site-specific readings from artist/writers Rowena Easton and Mark Hewitt at the Redoubt Fortress, Eastbourne, plus a chance to view the exhibition and an opportunity for questions, discussion and networking. Visitors are invited to bring their own refreshments. Admission to the Military Museum is FREE for this event only. (Normal admission charges apply at all other times, for details see www.eastbournemuseums.co.uk) Mark & Rowena have previously collaborated on Dream Buildings, a joint event at Aspex Gallery, Portsmouth. LAST FEW DAYS to see CIRCUMNAVIGATION – exhibition closes on Sunday 31st May. CIRCUMNAVIGATION is an exhibition of contemporary art presented by Blue Monkey Studio and includes work by the four Blue Monkey Artists, Judith Alder, Cat Ingrams, Wycliffe Stutchbury and Alison Haddon, as well as selected South Coast artists Sharon Haward, Mike Newman, Sally Colledge, Grace Powell, Rowena Easton, Solveigh Goett, Terence Kershaw and Paul Bartholomew.
