Clive Maclennan is an exceptional photographer and photojournalist who has lived on and off in Gainsborough since he was eight. By documenting how his home town has evolved he has established a photographic record that is truly extraordinary.

For this exhibition  he chose a set of images that though based in Gainsborough are not documentary in their nature. They are deeply personal and reflect on a particularly difficult period in his life.

Clive with his own words: A year to remember … or maybe not, I found myself trying to express my feelings of loss, anger and frustrations through some of my darker pictures along with accompanying words and titles that had or could be read with double meanings and was surprised how many other people also related to some of those pictures and words.
