OPEN: Call for entries for COASTAL CURRENTS 2010 Coastal Currents 2010 creates a trail of interventions, exhibitions and events that link the communities of Hastings and Rother. Tapping into the unexplored histories of Hastings, the festival will encourage residents to rediscover their area and visitors to explore new locations. Redundant outdoor spaces, parks, gardens, the beach, heritage sites, empty shops and non-art venues will be transformed by local, regional and international artists through the exciting new visual arts programme Place. Coastal Currents provides an opportunity for artists, residents and visitors to explore the forgotten charms of the area and celebrate the towns thriving creativity.
