Colin Turner (1937 -2009) was an artist who lived most of his life in Runcorn, but travelled much further in his art. This exhibition brings together oils, watercolours and drawings, featuring landscapes, the figure and portraits, from the traditional to the experimental. As a committed member of several regional art groups including Eddisbury Artists and the Wirral Society of Artists, Colin contributed a great deal to the art scene in Cheshire, and this show is a unique opportunity to see sketches, drawings and studies alongside completed works, providing a real insight into the skill and development of an artist at work.
