The exhibition lookings at points of reference between women artists of different generations. The works featured relate to three generations of artists, hinged either side of the major feminist movement of the 1970’s. Biographical material is repositioned, modes of production are examined and connections between works from different eras also raises awareness of the passing of time. Whilst the project claims to counter a mainstream approach to reading cultural and art history it also accepts that this is futile itself.
