Artist in Residence – Aaron Head. By paying particular attention to food consumption, production and land use Aaron Head will be exploring how globalisation realigns cultural differences and effects our everyday relations to food and drink and, in part, our cultural identity. Head will be posing questions about the way Britons manage and relate to food and how these relations have distinctly local effects and larger global implications.Expect a body of work that uses the DIY, everyday aesthetic of Small Town Britain to playfully and irreverently intervene into the politics and expectations of the topical and divisive issues of food and the environment.
