Craft Council in association with the Women’s Institute and UK Hand Knitting Association is running a national campaign to get people crafting again! I am pleased to announce that Salisbury Arts Centre will be a venue for the Craft Club in spring 2012. Craft Club is an opportunity for anyone with any level of experience – beginner or expert to meet with other people interested in craft to share skills and projects, whether knitting, crochet, or stitch – come along and share your passion. We already have some dates lined up. Craft Club is FREE and will take place in the Salisbury Arts Centre Café. Tuesday 10th January, 11am-12noon Winchester School of Art Knit Graduate Felicity Thomas will be on hand to help with your knitting queries. Tuesday 7th February, 11am – 12noonLocal artist Suzie Gutteridge will be running a FREE workshop ‘Bags of Creativity’ where old clothes can be up-cycled into Tudor inspired pomanders, or ‘Sweete Bags’.
