An exhibition of original prints and paintings by 3 inspirational artists. Craigie Aitchison is best known for the simple, spiritual and poetic treatment of his subjects, notably portraits, still life and landscape. Inspired by early iconographic painting, the Crucifixion and his love of Scotland and Italy are reoccurring themes in his paintings. John D Edwards paints from the heart and portrays an imaginary world peopled by strange animals, humans and birds. Sophisticated and often very funny, his expressionist paintings and landscapes are playful and uplifting. Illustrator and textile designer Jane Poulton brings a more graphic approach to the show with her in an intimate treatment of garden creatures, animals and birds. Entry is free and all works will be available for sale.
