As part of the launch of the Marylebone Theatre the multidisciplinary artist, Anniek Verholt presents a new body of work in our gallery consisting of a series of abstract oil paintings. Through this new body of work the Dutch artist explores the Nature of creativity. Her large scale paintings appear peaceful from a distance yet reveal their multi-layered character when viewed from up close. The subtle textures, colours and writing give some insight into a unique creative process of the artist and invite you to dive deeper into the inner world of the paintings.
