The Creative Yorkshire discussion is taking place on 17 July from 5.00pm to 8.00pm at the Hepworth Wakefield.

C I F members were keen for them to hold a Yorkshire-wide event for creative businesses. From Bradford to Sheffield, Hull to Leeds, Huddersfield to Barnsley and everywhere in between, the creative industries contribute £2.57bn in GVA to the UK economy (2016 figures). They are inviting creative businesses from across Yorkshire to come together for a workshop which will generate practical outcomes for local creative industries to thrive and grow.

A fantastic panel of speakers will outline current support available for businesses across Yorkshire including:

Councillor Judith Blake, leader of Leeds City Council

Caroline Pullich, head of SME in Yorkshire for Barclays

Nick Wild, creative entrepreneur and leading on the Kollider tech hub in Sheffield

Following this will be a practical session to hear from local businesses themselves about their growth journeys, explore how they can benefit from new avenues of support and discuss how to build on existing initiatives.

Finishing the session with a drinks reception celebrating Yorkshire’s creative industries.

This event is free to attend for creative businesses across Yorkshire.

Please RSVP directly to Evy Cauldwell French, [email protected], 020 3771 0350, 07456 587137.
