CRITgroup is a Manchester based artist’s networking group who recently initiated a research project investigating the perceived differences between ‘art’ and ‘craft’.How does the apparent need to label oneself as a particular kind of practitioner affect individual practices and how do those descriptions of discipline relate to differing methods of producing work?Creative Whispers has been the first of a series of collaborative projects run as part of this investigation and we are now pleased to invite audiences to view the outcomes and participate in a day of workshops that will review, respond and reflect on the work.
