Hannah Cushion.Sara Bevan.Curated by Sue Cohen.CUPBOARD LOVE 2 is a series of monthly shows presenting the work of six contemporary artists.Show 1 March 1st-30th March 2008 Bea Denton and Patrick Semple will be presenting their installations in the hidden cupboards concealed in the wooden panelling situated in the lifts at each side of the intriguing Edwardian pedestrian tunnel at Greenwich. Patrick Semple's sculptural images seek to undermine our expectations and to disturb our Other relationships with the world. He picks at the seams of our perceptions to reveal the complex stories that are tangled up in our ordinary lives.Bea Denton’s art looks at spirituality, faith and religion in a contemporary context.Soul Imaging is a series of four photographic that explores the notion of Purgatory, that is, a place in which the souls of those who have died in a state of grace are believed to undergo a limited amount of suffering to expiate their venial sins.Show 2:She and Her April 1st-30th April.
