Opening of Group Exhibition, Day In, Day Out Michael Davies, Kerstin Drechsel, Jorn Ebner, Nick Fox, Simon Le Ruez, Jock Mooney, Michael Mulvihill, Stephen Palmer, Matthew Smith, Alison Unsworth and Flora Whiteley Aid & Abet present ‘Day In, Day Out’ a group exhibition of works for sale from artists represented by Vane gallery in Newcastle upon Tyne. Each artist shares a concern with the construction of new and/or personal narratives using sources ranging from found objects or images, the everyday, the playful and the subconscious – whether drawn from popular culture/mass media, souvenirs, everyday ephemera, art history, mythology, and the built and natural environment.
