A new exhibition at the Brindley presents a selection of work by artists and designers who are challenging our notions about the things we live with. Many of the pieces in DOMESTICITY are inspired by traditional hand skills and processes. Many are made by hand. Others make the most of digital technologies yet still rely on hand finishing. Each one is unique. But each one asks the question: what can we do differently?
