This first biennial drawing open submission to be held at One Church Street is a new initiative in line with the gallery’s stated aims; to stimulate the debate surrounding contemporary drawing. The exhibition will coincide with the countrywide event,’The Big Draw’. From the exhibition, two artists will be awarded a joint show at the gallery in October 2011. There will also be a visitor vote award. The selection panel for this event were:- Rod Bugg, currently Emeritus Professor at the University of Arts, London. Polly Binns, currently lecturer at Norwich University College of the Arts. Lyndsey Keeling, arts director and curator of One Church Street Gallery.
