New paintings by Elaine Brown specific to the Elizabeth Hoare embroidery collection. Drawing on the rich imagery of the embroideries the artist has made a series of intricate paintings in oil on aluminium and watercolour on paper which will be installed alongside the collection for the duration of the Liverpool Biennial.
