Are emerging disabled artists having a tougher time than most? In addition to disabling barriers, cultural isolation seems to be an obstacle that, in spite of the rise of online networks, appears harder and harder to break through.
Join us in a conversation to discuss thoughts and ideas on how to produce a sustainable practice as an emerging disabled artist in this current climate. Includes presentations by bursary awardees from our Emergence project, run in partnership with a-n and Disability Arts Online.
We are particularly interested in hearing from artists who are happy to share tips, thoughts and insights that might be of use to other artists, in the spirit of peer support and making the creative sector more accessible and inclusive.
