Looking at the process and act of making Emma Moody-Smith has created an installation which will be installed at An Tobar Arts Centre on the Isle of Mull in Scotland from 9 November – 31 December 2012. Throughout this last year Moody-Smith has been piercing holes with a needle into a 10 metre scroll of paper which she will continue working on during the exhibition, sharing the making and completion of the artwork with her audience. Looking at the oscillation between process, performance and sculpture, this has been documented on film by Stephen Hurrel and supported with a text by Rebecca Gordon of Glasgow University.
