The annual Espacio Original Print Fair returns this October with bold new work by Espacio Gallery printmakers. Visitors to the exhibition will be able to browse two floors of original, hand-pulled prints and talk to the artists about tools and techniques. There will also be live printmaking demonstrations both weekends.

“Our passion is print ” says exhibition curator Zelda Eady “and we are very keen to raise awareness of this versatile art-form. Purchasing an original print is often a very cost-effective way for people to start collecting contemporary art – so we invite people to come and browse – several of our artists have a growing international reputation and have been selected for the prestigious RA Summer Exhibition.”

Espacio Gallery, in the heart of London’s East End art scene, is now well-established on the Whitechapel Gallery’s First Thursdays late night art list. It was founded by a group of artists working across all contemporary visual arts media who wanted a space of their own especially designed to meet their needs. The Original Print Fair is part of a stimulating programme of exhibitions, talks and events, which continues to bring artists and audiences together.
