Luminara Florescu is one of 50 artists whose work has been selected for the EVOLVER PRIZE EXHIBITION 2023. The selected photographic image shows the artist wearing her bright pink, handknitted ‘Self Care Scarf’ along with a jean jacket displaying a number of protest badges on its lapels. The work relates to Florescu’s Artist Self Care Tool Kit and Rest As Protest project which she is continuing to develop funded by an Arts Council England ‘Develop Your Creative Practice’ (DYCP) grant.
The exhibition runs from: 15th July – 26th August 2023
