Now in its ninth year, Quarr Abbey Art Gallery will be hosting VISIONS & DIMENSIONS, with work by local artists Andrew Dowden and Jeanne Mills-Holland.
Andrew’s contemporary ceramics, sculptural forms and tile wall panels, are handmade and hand-built. Inspiration is drawn from many sources including: architecture, archaeology, engineering and machinery and the surrounding countryside, tracks made by man, machine and by nature.
Jeanne’s decorative porcelain vessels are handmade and she has a particular interest in glazes. Her oil and watercolour paintings and photographs reflect her love of the sea, being a keen sailor for many years.
Work is for sale and Quarr Abbey, a registered charity, will receive a percentage of all exhibition sales. Open 10am to 5pm. Admission is free.
