Live drawing by Simone Wallace. An exploration of deteriorating cityscapes which are regurgitated as uniformed pulp noir drawings; suggestive of graphic novels, they represent the slow-moving silent transformation of the neglected. 'The intention behind the work is question our values of the old and whether the mass production of taller much bigger buildings will completely diminish and overpower the buildings with historical values. It has become the ignored subject – an invisible world which is the cause of overcrowded areas; deprived, broken and mistreated.'During the exhibition there will be a live drawing session where the drawing develops over the three week exhibiting period. A combination of documentary styles juxtaposed against the dark and mysterious back streets of the urban landscape.
