From the South East of England, Antony grew up in the 80’s on a diet of skate and hip-hop culture. Whilst studying Art and Design, he was given an assignment titled “Decay” Unbeknown that the same project would later kick-start an obsession for decaying walls, texture and predominantly the layers of flaking paint that those years of weathering and neglect produce.
Working in a variety of mediums including, Oils, Acrylic, Spray Paint and old worn posters, Antony creates contemporary abstract works by building multiple layers then scraping them back to mirror decayed walls within our urban environment.
Although self-classified as emerging, Antony is an international selling artist who has recently exhibited his work in London’s street art mecca, Shoreditch and Brooklyn, New York. His works are held in private collections across America, Canada, Netherlands, Norway and many European countries.
