'Fictions' brings together the work of eight contemporary artists who explore the boundaries between fact and fiction. Working with moving image, text, and objects, the artists aim to disrupt our expectations of narrative norms and how these come to shape our experience and understanding. Taking its name from the collection of short stories by Argentinean writer Jorge Louis Borges, the exhibition aims to ask what forms of information can be trusted, what is lost in translation from one language another and who has control over determining fact and fantasy?
