Brighton based artist Jamie Shaw is holding a site-specific installation called ‘Field Dynamics’ at Tom’s Bar in Brighton from 13th March to 9th April. Field Dynamics reflects the journey of the human psyche from its contented self into its deep, murky unconsciousness, drawing on mythology as well as Jungian theories of the human psyche. The exhibition begins on the ground floor with a selection of new paintings and continues downstairs where there will be an installation mural on all the ceilings and walls. The downstairs space is a symbol of the depths of the unconscious, spatial dynamics will become altered; energy will be far more explosive and seemingly unpredictable.
