Three Artists explore the associations of fabric, materials and threads.Christina Priddle tests the parameters of knitting, taking it away from its traditional use within the domestic space. Jean Oak uses cloth to make work that acknowledges loss and restores some order over chaos. Lillian McKelvie is concerned with the relationships that sustain life and its passing, using thread and tactile materials that are imbued with powerful historical and mythical associations
