Bournemouth Natural Science Society (BNSS) and Bournemouth Borough Council Arts Development invite visual artists living and working in the Bournemouth area and within the South West region to produce new contemporary work that responds directly to themes relating to Darwin and the evidence displayed at BNSS. Two Artist Open Days will take place at BNSS on Wed 4 March and Sat 7 March from 10am – 4pm. A tour with a BNSS specialist/curator will be available at 11am and at 2pm on each day. Artists will be able to view the collection, taking notes, photographing and sketching exhibits to help develop/produce their final pieces of work. Entry to BNSS is free.
