Through countless generations, the seafront has provided a place for leisure and time for reflection.
What do you think of when you think of the Southsea seafront?
Join us for a free storytelling and photomontage workshop to share your memories of Southsea seafront.
Your stories will become part of High Spring Tide, a brand-new artwork by local artist Dewi Cary that will be showcased at We Shine Portsmouth festival and its accompanying exhibition at Treadgolds Warehouse.
A variety of visual materials about Southsea seafront will be available on the day but you’re welcome to bring your own. No creative experience needed just come along and share your memories of the area.
High Spring Tide is supported by public funding from the National Lottery through Arts Council England.
