Two new participatory artworks by Steven Duval, investigating the relationship between the roles we play in our professional and private lives. He attempts to blur boundaries and enable dialogue between specialists and ordinary people. In Frontstage/Backstage the audience are offered t-shirts in exchange for answering questions, then photographed wearing the T-shirts. In Interpellating History, participants are invited to engage with actors playing the role of historical figures, crossing the boundaries of culture and history as well as specialism.
