Katrina Johnk•Mike Hunter•Martin Scott Powell•Victoria Baker. ‘Futureproof’ is an exhibition profiling the enigmatic work of 4 emerging image-makers whose work gravitates between, and plays upon, the genres of documentary and staged photography. Graduating in 2008 from 3 of Scotland’s photography courses, Mike Hunter, Victoria Baker, Martin Scott Powell and Katrina Johnk variously construct situations and narratives through the use of the figure in real and artificial environments, or in one case through its contrasting absence. Hunter, Powell and Baker will talk about their work on Saturday 6th December at 3pm.
