This year, the Downland Art Society has decided to bring its Autumn Exhibition forward in order to join the Arundel Gallery Trail. This will be the first time the Society has been part of the Trail, which is celebrating its 21st year. The Society holds two exhibitions each year in Arundel, and for its second, in August, over 40 of it’s member artists will enjoy the opportunity to bring their work to the attention of the many visitors to the Trail – over 10000 according to the organisers! The Arundel Gallery Trail runs from Saturday 22 August until Monday 31 August, with opening times of 12.00 – 5.30 at weekends and 2.00 – 5.30 on weekdays. Although the Downland exhibition opens a couple of days later on Monday 24 August, it does last until Wednesday 2 September, and is open 10.00 – 5.00 every day.
