An exhibition and sale of our fantastic hospital artwork collection, Zest Arts in Health taster projects including art workshops, music and dance performances, face painting and juggling. This will indeed be a unique Art event to not only raise money for Sheffield Hospital Charitable Trust but raise awareness of Zest Arts in Health and bring community projects together to celebrate art and all its benefits.Sheffield Hospitals Charitable Trust kindly fund Zest Arts in Health projects to provide an engaging and vibrant patient focussed Arts in Health programme. We aim to enhance the healthcare environment using all forms of visual and performing arts to create an atmosphere that is warm and uplifting for all those within it. The power of the arts within healthcare is often overlooked as a superficial issue but it is one of real significance to the quality of life within a hospital. It is not only the body but the spirit that needs to heal and a patient’s state of mind can have great influence on their physical health. Artistic activity exercises the imagination; this creativity can stimulate a patient and help them to escape the intensity of a clinical environment.
