This social history exhibition celebrates the rich sporting heritage of Warwick district to mark the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The Going for Gold! exhibition looks at all levels of sports participation across a wide range of sports. It brings together sporting memorabilia belonging to individuals and sports clubs from across the district, alongside items from the museum collection. Highlights include an early 20th century rowing boat, a head guard worn by World Middleweight Boxing Champion Randolph Turpin, and Olympic and Paralympic medals. Admission free.
