Good Things Happen to Bad People is an online art gallery with art and Illustration over the last 8 years, culminating in November 2024. This is a show that looks at the social implications of the time, and concentrates mainly on what has been going on in the UK and US over these years. It is not about just regurgitating social media and newspaper clickbait narratives, nor causing more polarisation. Rather the curation seeks to make people feel engaged with politics again, or even optimistic.
Artists and illustrators come from all over the world and have their images licensed for use in the show. In return they receive 80% of any profits generated through sales, and have their work promoted throughout the duration. GTHTBP is still open for entries but will hopefully be a collection of up to around just 30 artists in total. There will also be a print catalogue documenting the whole event, and there will hopefully be some live pop-ups before the end. All pieces of merch are limited edition and / or branded from the show. Merch and fine art prints. Artists pay nothing to participate, so please help to support them by spreading the word!
