Sheffield based artist Graham Hutchinson exhibits recent collages at Such and Such, Edinburgh, Scotland. The collages are formed from Graham’s vast collection of images; images that have been found in different European cities, in cafés, flea markets and on the street. Old, worn and aged magazines, photographs, newspapers and books are de-constructed to depict multiple narratives of portraiture. An array of emotional anxieties prevail in the collages. They aim to highlight loss, abjection and despondency. The work will be installed at Such and Such, Edinburgh for one week only. Such and Such is an independent, artist run space based in Edinburgh, providing studio and exhibition opportunities to both established and emerging artists and designers.
