Passages of The Times draws its inspiration from its site. The George was a stagecoach inn and would receive the news first, brought speedily from London by coach and four, the latest edition of The Times would be read out loud in the yard for all to hear. This work once again gives the George its central role of relaying the news, with articles collected from The Times Archives.
