One of the UK’s largest open art exhibitions. featuring over 400 exhibitors and over 2,000 artworks, plus dozens of fringe venues across the Holme Valley and Colne Valley area with thousands more works of art and craft.
The main exhibition is held at Holmfirth Civic Hall. Tickets cost £2.50 each and allow unlimited visits throughout the week. This includes the main exhibition on the first 2 floors, our featured artists exhibition on the 3rd floor (with work from Lindsay Norman and Joanne Cooke), a cafe on the ground floor, a demonstration area on the stage of the 1st floor and a market on the stage of the 2nd floor. All work at Holmfirth Artweek is for sale, with a minimum 20% of each sale going to Macmillan Cancer Support.
Work from the main exhibition can only be taken after closing on Saturday 7th (5-9pm), but work bought on the market can be taken away immediately.
This year we will also be hosting children’s workshops on Sunday 1st and Saturday 7th. These will be in painting, sculpture, textiles and ceramics and each session costs £10 per child. Sun 1st July: 10.00am – 5.00pm
Mon 2nd – Fri 6th July: 10.00am – 9.00pm
Sat 7th July: 10.00am – 5.00pm*
* The market closes at 4.00pm on Saturday 7th.
