About the Artist
Alys uses drawing and moving image to tell stories of lived experience, drawing on her experience of daily life as a parent, and in a female body and mind.
She works with drawing to document and record challenging moments, and animation as a way to tell subversive narratives, which include sexuality, ageing, perimenopause, grief, mental health, and connection to nature and her environment.
