I’m Here But I’m Not A Cat – a group exhibition exploring the tension between the digital and the material through works that express a desire to reconnect with lived experience and physical presence. Featuring artists Adonia Bouchehri, Daniel & Clara, Duncan Poulton, Edwin Rostron.
Moving promiscuously between virtual and analogue techniques including moving image, AI, sculpture, painting, collage and photographs, the works in the show use intuition, chance and unreliable memories to unpick this slippery in-between reality we find ourselves in.
The exhibition will be accompanied by talks and performances in the gallery, as well as two screening programmes at Close-Up Cinema and a publication in collaboration with Alt/Kino.
