Bob Levene has been artist in residence at YSP since early April through the Art House Space for 10 programme. You are warmly invited to a discussion about Levene’s work on Thursday 29th May. This free event includes a conversation between the artist and William Rose reflecting on Levene’s findings. This event is free but you need to book a place.Levene’s work considers the culture, languages and rules that are synonymous with recording and communication technologies. Through a process of experimentation she creates sculpture, installation, performance and video that investigates the literal and physical limitations of reproduction. Levene’s research at YSP has explored both ancient and modern forms of communication and ideas around our perception of distance, space and time.
