The ‘In Retrospect’ Art Auction is open to professional artists based in East Anglia. It is going to be held alongside the Norfolk Open Studios project.
The Auction is an online event giving buyers of Art and Artists alike an opportunity to connect with each other.
As a professional artist, my focus is naturally on creating new work and this can mean that the exhibition and sale of earlier work is overlooked. ‘In Retrospect’ Art Auction is designed to give working artists a platform to offer their back catalogue for sale.
As one of the Artists at West Rayhnam I am launching the ‘In Retrospect’ Art Auction and am now delighted to invite submissions for the first event. The Auction will commence on Saturday 11 September and bids can be made online until Monday 11 October.
In this way it encompasses the Norfolk Open Studios project in which it is envisaged many of the pieces for sale will be on show.
