Preview: 9th June 2011, 6.30-9pm ‘In the Current Climate’ showcases new works by Sandra Ackermann, Gillian Best Powell, Arnold Borgerth, Jane Boyer, Nicholas Cornwell, Miranda Davis, Rosalind Davis, Sarah Hervey, Kelda Hole, Neil Kelly, Carolyn Lefley, Steve Lumb, Rebekah Narewski, Mo Negm, Charlotte Norwood, Zoe Powell, Deirdre Ruane and Annabel Tilley in media ranging from painting, printmaking, sculpture, photography, drawing and installation.‘In the Current Climate’ a Cor Blimey Studios exhibition in conjunction with our first Open Studios of the year. Our studio artists interpret the meaning of the euphemistic phrase, ‘…in the current climate…’ for themselves as they consider what it means to live in the World today. Some of the issues involved are politics, finance, government cutbacks, world events, current event, society at large even issues of identity touching on philosophy and gender. A diversity of media ranging from painting, printmaking, sculpture, photography, drawing and installation.Cor Blimey Open Studios Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th June An opportunity to see where the magic happens and buy from artists direct.
