’Drawing is the key…the underpinning of our artwork’ Cindy and Jane met as students at Exeter College of Art, before moving on to study Glass and Ceramics at The Royal College of Art. They have been working together periodically since then, exchanging ideas and observations, both drawing on studies of botanical and natural forms, each artist reflecting her findings in her own unique way; light, movement and colour combine to create all the vigour and texture found in a garden. Both artists have exhibited widely in the UK and have undertaken a number of public commissions, in museums, schools and churches. This show at The North Wall will be the first time they have exhibited together, demonstrating their talents both as artists working independently and as artists in dialogue.
