To commemorate the 30th Anniversary of The Falklands Conflict, West Country Artist Rachael Lomas will be exhibiting art work at The Helicopter Museum in Weston-super-Mare.’Inscape Landscape’ will reflect upon the environment of the Falklands Islands and how it may have affected the progress of the war. In capturing the complexities of the Falklands War in visual form, Rachael explores the subject matter with intricate pen and ink drawings and structural art book forms. The ordered nature of the line drawings, mixed media and meticulous cut shapes creates a thought provoking visual forum of fragmented memories and comradeship.
